Well, it is long overdue, and i appologize for the last couple weeks leaving ya'll dangling (though i'm guessing you all just guessed what would happen).
I officially resign from The Sixth Column in City of Heroes. I relinquish any rights I have gained as an acting officer of over 4 years, and I will not be returning.
::commence touching speech::
In my time in the sixth Column, I met many a young stranger, and had many a strange conversation with those....strangers. Those strangers turned into my friends, and those friends turned into my second family. I have had more memoriable experiences on a video game, with you all, than i have in real life.
This group got me through some of my roughest times in life. I remember sitting in a school of 3000 students, most of which I had nothing but hatred for, and the only comfort at those times was you all. Each one of you gave me strength, and helped keep me sane. For that I thank you.
I know I may have been over the top, and even annoying at times, but that is just who I am lol. I really am a loud mouth southern from a large family, and I have shit to say. Thanks for putting up with that.
I would leave special thanks to most of you, but they would be page long texts of "remember when we...." type stories. Besides, those who I feel like need a special goodbye, already know what i would say (and I'll probably speak to you later today lol).
Now, all this being said, do not thing big bad Peace is out of The Sixth Column good. Just City of Heroes, Leaving I am. God willing, I hope to see you all in a new game(TOR), crafting new memories I can think about as i write THAT goodbye speech in 5 years (if we make it...2012 fools!).
Until that time, I'll keep in touch on the forums and xfire as much as possible, and I'm always just a text away. So, for now....
