The following is the new and improved Rules and Guidelines of The Sixth Column. This was created to help clear up some general confusion, and because the rules simply needed an upgrade. They can also be found on our main website Here

-----------------------------------------------------------

The Sixth Column Rules and Guidelines

1) The Sixth Column is not a Nazi group. Do not ever claim that we are
Nazis, anti-Semetic, or anything of the sort. If other people accuse
you of being a Nazi, politely state that we are not, and are in fact
anti-Nazi and were created to eradicate the 5
th
Column. If they continue to bother you, do not argue with them, and do
not instigate a fight. If the harassment continues, simply /ignore them.

2) Always show respect, to everyone in the Sixth Column and out. Address
male and female officers with 'sir' and 'ma’am' respectively, and
always salute
a superior officer upon meeting. Hold the saluting position until the highest ranking officer present grants you at ease. You
are always required to refer to officers as sir or ma’am in any
situation OOC or IC with the exception of our designated OOC Global
Channel.

3) If a problem should arise between you and a fellow Columnists, do not
take it upon yourself to fix the problem, and never put a fellow
Columnists on ignore. Report the situation to an officer and it will be
dealt with.

4) We in the Sixth Column are bent on the destruction of primarily the 5th Column, for their heinous fascism and practices, and the Council, for their continued evils and for stealing our glory in the 5th
Column’s initial demise. We are also a group of Heroes and as such will
fight any villainy that should arise. Level as efficiently as possible
and do your best to be a valuable asset to the Sixth and to
Paragon City.

5) Register and be active on the forums. The forums can be reached by hitting the “Forums” tab above or by going to https://sixthcolumnonline.forummotion.com.
The forums house valuable information on events, like planned Task
Forces, Player Versus Player events, Supergroup meetings, etc. They are
also a place where we have casual conversations and keep up with one
another outside of the game, and registered members are more than
welcome to post freely. You must be registered and active on the forums to be considered for promotion.

6) Be active ingame. We have a strict 10-day inactivity limit in effect. This means that if your “Nacht” shows up on the supergroup window as having
over 10 days since last login, you will be removed from the supergroup
and sent an in-game email informing you that you were removed due to
inactivity. If you know you are going to be gone for over 10 days and
do not wish to be removed, simply post that you will be gone on the
“Request Leave” forum at
https://sixthcolumnonline.forummotion.com/request-leave-f5/ or send multiple officers/Komturs an in-game email telling them that you'll be gone.

7) In regard to uniforms: Ranks Recruit through Kapitan do not have a choice but to wear the current regulated uniform. Recruit and Soldat uniform can be found under the “How to Join” tab above, or by going to http://sixthcolumnonline.com/page4.html. Ranks higher than Kapitan may have other options, which can be discussed with the Komturs by those higher ranks.

8) In regard to roleplay: The Sixth Column is a military roleplay supergroup. As such you are required to roleplay in a few key areas.

  1. Supergroup Chat:
Supergroup chat is designated as a place for 100% roleplay. If you step
out of character in Supegroup chat, please be sure to make it known
that you are not in character via ((brackets)) or by preceding your message with “OOC:”.

  2. Sixth Column Teams:
When grouped with fellow Columnists, by default the team is a roleplay
team. The only exception is if a superior Officer is on the team and
they decide that the team is OOC, or casual. In that event, you can
    conduct yourself freely.

The one place where OOC chat is completely allowed and more than welcome is the Sixth Column’s global channel. Chat in the global channel is
uncensored, unregulated, and entirely up to the player to partake in.
To be invited to the global channel, contact an officer.

Please bear in mind that in public chat channels, like Local, Request and
Broadcast, you are always representing the Sixth Column, due to your
“Nacht” title. Please take care to act in a professional manner, so as
not to spoil our public image.

9) Lastly, be the best Soldat you can be! The Sixth Column will reward you only if you deserve to be rewarded. Keep in mind that promotions are not based on Security Level or Prestige,
but rather on how well you represent yourself and the Sixth. Be active,
be loyal, be helpful, be respectful, and your deeds will ultimately
earn you your rightful place in the Sixth Column.
