| This is sort of a very, very, long term event. I'm completely aware of the Supergroups current status, but I'm posting this topic for the sake of it being here.
I still think it would be an fantastic idea (not to mention a fun one) to have an official Sixth Column PvP team. Working it in roleplay-wise will be simple enough. The reputation, fun, and competition is something we could use. Unfortunately with issue 12 and 13 my pvp prowess has fallen dramatically, so I'm going to need YOU! That's right, as you can tell below the roster not only isn't complete (duh), but there are builds I'm not even sure are good anymore that I had up there, so, I erased them. Half of this team, I'm somewhat clueless about, and all you new pvp-junkheads need to help me out here. So, hit me up ingame or outgame and talk to me about this.
1. Spines/Regen Scrapper: Nacht TwigDeath
2. Fire/Energy Manipulation Blaster: Nacht Karnie
3. Sonic/Energy Manipulation Blaster: (N/A)
4. Empathy/ * (Either Defender, or Illusion/Empathy Controller): (N/A)
5. (N/A)
6. (N/A)
7. (N/A)
8. (N/A)
Please send me a message if you wish to take over one of these roles, or.
You must be willing to follow either mine (not so much anymore), or Karnie's guidance down to the last minuscule detail, (Or even Falcon's, I think he knows his stuff too.) when it comes to learning to pvp, and your build.
Yes, yes, it is somewhat strict, but. Hey this is The Sixth Column.

| I'd volunteer, but I'm fairly horrible at PvP, so it may not be beneficial to have me on the team, I'm afraid. | |

| Twig, I am very glad to say, I do know my stuff! So I will gladly assist in the construction of this elite few. With regret, I do inform, that it might work best if you and Karnie were to make alts for this. But it's up to you, really.
Anyways, to make a long story short, here's some FotM stuff out there for our heroic sorts. ( subject to editorial )
Blasters Primary - Sonic Attack, Psychic Blast, Energy Blast Secondary - Energy Manipulation, Electric Manipulation, Mental Manipulation ( Not standard FotM, but toggle confuse is destructive )
Controllers Primary - Anything goes, but Plant Control is, IMHO, not as effective Secondary - Anything goes but Trick Arrow, but I highly advise Kinetics, Empathy, Storm Summoning, Force Field, or Radiation Emission
Defenders Primary - Anything but Trick Arrow ( again, some are better than others ) Secondary - Electrical Blast ( for end drains ), Energy Blast, Radiation Blast, Psychic Blast, Sonic Attack
Scrappers Primary - Dark Melee, Broadsword, Katana, Fiery Melee ( Dark is the standard, but I feel the other three still function fine ) Secondary - Shield Defense, Super Reflexes ( Willpower, Fiery Aura, and Regeneration are optional depending on primaries )
Tankers Primary - Ice Armor, Shield Defense, Willpower, Fiery Aura ( somewhat iffy, it's only good for scrankers ) Secondary - Dark Melee, Energy Melee, Super Strength
That's a list of powers workable in PvP. If anyone feels it should be changed, let me know, and I advise you work with powersets within this list.
Also, Twig, you can bet your behind I'm getting one of those spots.

| Good stuff right hurr. Falcon, good job. I wanna make some changes though. Blaster: Primary: Fire is still good, just not as effective as it used to be. Secondary: Psychic isn't as effective as EM or Electric, so I would advise steering away from that choice. If we were to implement a Psychic blaster, we would need more than one toon with a confuse power. Controller: Primary: Everything seems fine. Secondary: Trick Arrow is still one of the best support pools in the game. I'm not so sure how it does on a controller, but I think it should still be considered. I also highly advice thermal, which will be key to heals and buffs. Defender: Primary: Now for defenders, I -know- trick arrow is great for this class. It provides slows and many-a-debuff for support. Secondary: Everything seems fine there. Mostly go Sonic, Radiation, for more support. The others still workt hough. Scrapper: Primary: I would remove Dark, it's mostly for dueling. And I would like to add Spines as well as Martial Arts. Spines isn't as good as it used to be, but its still pretty effective. Secondary: Shield and Super Reflexes seem fine to me. Fiery Aura, Regen, and Willpower are still very good. Tankers: Primary: Everything seems fine there. Secondary: I would take off Dark Melee. Again, it's mostly only good with duels. :/ If I have something wrong just say so. Trying to help a bit. | |

| Me and Karnie are sticking in. This isn't 100% elite, but great builds in general. Me and Karnie have simply worked too hard for the toons we have now to turn back, they still should do above par, I don't have a doubt about that. Thanks for this great insight, might I ask what is now so superior about Dark Melee though? I remember it being pretty, um, awful lol
Edit: I'm also willing to replace my spot with my fire/thermal controller, healing primarily of course. Problem with that atm is he's level 22.
EditEdit: Don't worry Karnie, please give any and all input, we need it atm.

| I'm willing to give you guys Leiter's second build to mess with if you want her as the Emp. She's Empathy/Radiation, if you've forgotten. | |

| Empathy/Radiation would actually be great to have. /Rad is now one of the best attack pools and emps are always needed. And Dark Melee is good in duels because of Siphon Life and other shadow attack/buff's. It also has a fluent attack combo, just bad damage and slow animation times. So when you combine Siphon life with Regeneration, a DM/Regen is pretty hard to kill. | |

| You know darn well I wanna PvP with you Twiggy. Though I do not pull a dominating blaster, AR/Devices, I still manage a good force to be dealt with. I don't go down easy | |

| The other benefit to Dark that Karnie failed to mention is that Siphon Life and Midnight Grasp, the two most powerful attacks to a DM's cycle, do straight-up Negative damage, a little harder to resist. Also, Karnie, I don't advise TA because Slows got nerf'd by i13, and it's debuffs can't stand up to a Radiation Emission's. The only thing it's got over Rad is the Flash Arrow, but in PvP, realistically, you can only count on it affecting one guy. | |

| Well yes, slows have been nerf'd but so has radiation, drastically. Alot of radiations debuffs are toggles, which are now dropped when mez'd unlike most other debuffs. TA however has instant powers that don't require toggles, as well as oil slick which can be extremely recourceful when combining slows, debuffs, and finally an exploded oil leak. Good combinations. | |

| I'm pretty sure that my build (Nacht Fighter, Martial arts/Regen) is good enough to be a sufficient force to deal with in PvP... Once i get enough money to finish my build. and I stop being lazy and get those Accolade badges. Which I'm working on now at the moment! So yeah. I so want to join this PvP team when you guys set it up. | |

| Ok so this is Nacht Protector, and i kinda just skimmed through this. I would like to throw my FF/NRG blaster in the mix. all support, and knockback, would be great for survival of the whole team. | |
