Regen Scrappers are the only AT

Could use some help with minor amounts of power selection and, much more importantly, slotting with my Dark Melee/Regen scrappar. He's only level 34 right now, but I prefer having a plan in mind instead of hitting 50 and respeccing every other day like my corr did.

EDIT: I'd like a PvP spec that's still suitable for PvE to an extent. I have Dark Consumption in my build right now, my next power is Stamina so I don't know if I'll keep it or not. It's a convenient enough power anyway, my guy gets crazy endurance crashes for some God forsaken reason.

Well for one thing, I'm taking Shadow Punch, not Shadow Maul. Shadow Maul is trash. For two, no Resilience? Does he really need Leadership so bad, especially without Vengeance?
His attacks are only 5 slotted, and Dark Consumption is slotted for damage...
I merely ask for explanation, because there must be something I'm not seeing here.

Perhaps drop Leadership in favor of Fighting, or would it not be worth it?
Also, I noticed a total lack of LotG procs, why?

Well Shadow Maul does more damage, as well as more -tohit, but thats your choice. Resilience is not needed at all. It only prevents against stun which you already have a toggle for. And no, you don't need Leadership, but there is nothing else to take. And vengeance is trash, even when your in duels. The body will respawn too fast, and thats the same in zones. LoTG procs are very expensive, and I was thinking about the cost of this build, not necessarily to make it ultimate purples and LoTG recharges. Fighting isn't worth it when it's not stacked with other resistances. And dark consumption won't be useful. The enemies will run away too quickly. It is slotted for damage for hte bonuses, not necessarily the effectiveness. If you planned on PvE'ing at 50 i'll fix it for you. I just need to know what you want changed.

If Dark Consumption won't be helping me, I'll just use it in a PvE build.
The only real problem I have with Shadow Maul is the animation time, if you miss you're a sitting duck. Resilience gives smash/lethal and toxic resistance which would normally be negligible but Widows are everywhere in PvP. Hey, it's auto, it can't hurt really.
If not Leadership, then maybe Presence? Admittedly this does seem like a tough build to work with. It may not sound like it but I appreciate your help.

Well widows aren't everywhere in PvP now. Since the nerf everyone looks as widows as the new AR/Ice Blasters. And as i said, resistance won't be needed in a regeneration scrapper build. And mayber your right, I guess I didn't take missing into consideration, i'll change that up. As for presence, with i13/i14 PvP, all fear protection has been taken away and changed into resistance. And with that every toon now has a global resistance to fear, even though it may not be a large number. Twig used to have presence, and now it doesn't do much at all in PvP even when slotted with IO's. I still think Leadership is the main choice, but if you want presence I can fix that.

Yeah I can vouch for the suckiness that presence now has.
And I have resilience, not as worthless as you're putting it out to be Karnie, plenty of IO space in Resilience and with the smash/lethal resistance it really just doesn't hurt to have, mainly talking about farming here, though.

Well yeah. I just think that a different power would be more useful than resilience. Unless Opus would like to exchange Dark Consumption for it.

I'll have to see if Stamina is enough to mitigate his piss-poor endurance use/recovery ratio; if so, I'll happily take Resilience over Dark Consumption.

Your only using about 1.4 end per second. Thats great.

It's not like he's using any more out-of-theory, in fact he has fewer toggles right now, dark melee is just a big-ass end-drainer.

What did you need?

A theoretical, alternative build with less Dark Consumption and more Resilience. And possibly less Leadership, but I'm as clueless as you as far as what to put in its place. But if I'm not gonna use Leadership, go ahead and do something unusual, like Revive or Confront, who knows. Taunting is no less effective in PvP, is it? Or did it get hit by the ugly stick as hard as mezzes?

Your gonna need the Leadership. Dark Melee doesn't have BU or Aim so it needs something to compensate for it. I took resilience though.
