With the release of i14: Mission Architect, I thought we should start a running list of MA arcs we think are really cool, and everyone should play.

Also, I will probably shamelessly plug my own arcs. =D

Try and follow this format, if you don't mind, just so everyone's on the same page.

Arc ID: 8713
Arc Title: Ragnarok: Twilight of the Gods
Arc Author: @System Glitch
Arc Level Range: 40-50? I think?
Comments: This is a really bitchin' arc, and I'm not just saying that
because my brother wrote it. Well-written, well-crafted, and really fun
to play. Want to beat up some Gods? Earn your way into Valhalla? DO IT.

You should list the enemy group lvls... I've often experienced MA's fun-ness nerf'd by my character-of-the-day's pre-40 lvl.

Arc ID: 121134
Arc Title: Rolling Thunder - A Soldier's Tale
Arc Level Range: 1-54
Arc Author: @Mahargenin (moi)
Comments: All custom enemies that are tough to solo but manageable with 3 or more. Based on a feud between once-allied German WWII heroes, includes 2 AV fights. Not an easy arc, but it was fun to test-drive with Falcon and Ihr Vati.

Arc ID: 126708
Arc Title: The Sixth Column Chronicles- Story 1: The Recruit Drive
Arc Level Range: 1-54
Arc Author: @TwigDeath
Comments: This is a fairly simple novelty arc feat. Karnie, Falcon, Vati and myself. It's 1 mission long and it breathes The Sixth Column. I like to make these kind of missions, really cool, quick-deals that are jam packed with customization (hence I could only make 1 mission lol) Enemies are The Council, and the AV/EB is Requiem. Reccomended for teams for big big mobs and much much chaos.

I am currently working on an arc in which the Sixth Columnists are captured by various organizations out for revenge, and the only one to escape is myself and a small battalion (not because of any superiority, but for the sake of story plot). To help me better this, I would appreciate your input! I have some ideas, but I'd like people's permission to place them in the arc, and suggestions on their nemesis.

Twig, if you're cool with it, the 5th gotcha.

Other than that, I'd love some advice from you all. And Peace too.

I'll say right now, folks, I do love stories. So I'm happy to give you feedback on any and all arcs. I started playing through the ones listed here, but I only got through Twig's due to time restraints.

I was toying with the idea of writing up a 'How to Write a Mission Arc' post, to go in the Resources section. Any interest in that from you guys? Talking about writing styles, how to save space in the arc, etc.?

Anyway, commentary on Twig's:

Twig: It seemed like this mission was the beginning of an arc that could have been interesting, I was sad to see that it was just the one mission. I'd like to see it fleshed out some more.

That said: I think, though it was amusing to see the different Nachts you included as NPCs, it might be better to go with a generic 'Soldat' NPC instead of having seven or so different NPCs that are then repeated throughout. It'd make more sense to see seven Soldats in a mission than to see seven Nacht Wielders. This will also free up some room in your arc to add more missions, since you'll have one or two NPCs taking up space rather than ten.

There were also some grammatical and spelling errors, and some lines that felt kind of stilted, but I didn't make a note of them specifically, so I can't tell you what was where.

Also, wtf dude, I was not in that mission at all. You put in Foot but not me? =P (Also, I kept expecting Foot to turn his coat and attack me. =D)

All of that I realized while I was making it. I've been insanely lazy and haven't touched my arc in about a month. Taking all into consideration, I guess I'll get back to it tonight lol. Make the guide you were talking about.

But yeah, just clarifying, I know it's bad. It was a mess that I threw together because AE was new and shiny.

I'd love to get some feedback on my arc, if anyone decides to put together a team and run it.

I didn't say it was bad. Like I said, I would've liked to see it go further.

Solo the crap out of it Twiggy, but the lieutenants will piss you off and the boss classes are, in my opinion, the most impressive. The teaming thing was mostly a suggestion, also because AV fights are a lot more intense than EB after EB, since my arc includes the EB class intensively.

Twig can just use up another of his three arcs for a Part II.
